In 1967, the Aeroflot Tyumen Directorate was founded in order to meet the transport needs of the developing oil and gas industry in Western Siberia.
Tyumenaviatrans Aviation (TAT) replace the Aeroflot Tyumen Directorate in 1991 and its named changed into “UTair” in early 2003.
UTair operates scheduled domestic and some international flights, scheduled helicopter services and extensive charter flights with fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
UTair owns a fleet of more than 200 aircraft and is today on eof the 3 largest airlines in Russia.
